Nikki Einfeld Gives Benefit Recital for SF Opera's Merola Program
Nikki Einfeld recently gave a benefit recital for San Francisco Opera's Merola Program. Part of the organization's Signature Event Series, the recital included two pieces by H. Purcell (as realized by B. Britten) ~ If Music be the Food of Love and Sweeter than Roses, followed by An Die Nacht and Amor by R. Strauss.
The program also included C. Debussy's Pantomime and Apparition as well as Il Barcaiolo by Donizetti and Rossini's La Danza. The recital concluded with Mein Herr Marquis (the laughing song) from Die Fledermaus. Nikki was accompanied by San Franicisco Opera's Head of Music Staff, John Parr.
